| Note | The Newark Advocate Thursday, 21 October 1971 Newark, Licking, OH OBITUARIES LINNIE MAE SEVERANCE Services for Mrs. Linnie M. Severance, 84, of 1706 Greer Dr. West, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard W. Hurdiss officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Mrs. Severance died this morning in the hospital. She was born June 16, 1887. In Perry TWP., Coshocton County. She had been a resident of Newark for more than 60 years coming from Coshocton County, and was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ. Her first husband, Ross H. Axline, died in 1935 and her second husband, Clarence E. Severance, died in 1955. Surviving are a son. Ross S. Axline, with whom she lived: a sister. Ethel L. Dunlevy of the home; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. 84 years 4 months 5 days. |
