Mrs. H. W. (Emma F.) Axline, 72, died after an illness of 10 days Saturday in her McDonel-tp home. A native of Hardin-co, Mrs. Axline had spent most of her life in that region. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Axline is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elzie Vermillion, of near Ada; three sons, Jessie Black, of near Kenton; Frank and Everett Black, both of whom live near Alger; two sisters, Mrs. Scott Wilcox, Hardin-co; Mrs. Jennie Harrod, Wapakoneta, 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Last rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mt. Zion church near Jumbo. Rev. W. B. Arthur will be in charge. Burial will be in Fairview-McDonald cemetery. Hanson funeral home at Alger is in charge.
