Note | W. M. Axline, 77, Former Lawyer, Dies At Home William M. Axline, 77, retired attorney, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at his home, 911 Brice-av. He had been ill three years. He was born in Muskingum-co and was a graduate of the law school of Ohio Northern university. His brother, S. P. Axline, now dead, formerly was dean of Ohio Northern law school. Axline began practicing here 34 years ago and was active until his retirement four years ago. He was a member of the Allen-co Bar-assn and the Maccabees. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel High, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Musgrave, of Forest. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Central Church of Christ. The Rev. S. M. Davidian will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will be taken from the Davis-Miller and Son mortuary to the home Friday evening.
