Mrs. William A. Ogden

Mrs. Hazel Axline Ogden, 66, wife of William A. Ogden, 905 Brice Ave., died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in her home from complications of a one-year illness.

A retired real estate broker and music teacher, Mrs. Ogden was the only daughter of Sara Ellen Johnson and William M. Axline, an attorney in Lima for many years.

She was a member of the Lima Symphony Orchestra, a life member of the Central Church of Christ, and formerly directed the orchestra of Wesley Methodist Church and taught Sunday School classes there.

During World War II, Mrs. Ogden served as foreman at the Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 56 months.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a niece, Miss Velma Stallter, also of the Brice Ave. address, and a cousin, Miss Daphne Axline, 748 W. High St.

The body will remain in the Davis Miller & Son Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. Friday, then be removed to the Central Church of Christ for services at 10:30 a.m.

The Rev. Paul Runk, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. D. McCullough, George B. Winter, Robert J. Kempf, G. J. Stroble, Calvin Hermon and James L. Barthall, all neighbors.
